Learn a Little About Indiana
Indiana is probably most renowned for the Indianapolis 500 which is held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The first race at the speedway was held on May 30th in 1911, the winner went home with a first place prize of $14,000 and reached a top speed of 75 miles an hour. Of course, motorists reach much higher speeds and take home much bigger prizes.
Indiana Concerned About Privacy
The state has recently awarded a contract to LexisNexis to help protect its citizen’s identities. The company will verify taxpayers’ identities when they file their taxes for 2013. In addition, they will help to educate tax payers on protecting their identities and preventing tax fraud.
